On the 11th of July 2024 Anders Frederiksen successfully defended his PhD thesis on structural and mutational traits of avian cryptochromes! Anders was a long time member of the group and contributed immensely to solving all sorts of problems in the group. Besides work, his danish humor was definitely something special, that contributed to a lot of great moments and funny conversations. Anders will now use his excellent expertise to work for the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden (the danish rivals).
