At June 4-10th the 8'th annual conference on quantum effects in biological systems was held in Durban, South Africa. The topics for this meeting were
- Quantum effects in photosynthesis
- Magnetoreception and the avian compass of birds
- Experimental methods for quantum biology
- The potential of quantum effects in the brain
Our group contributed with a presentation on the subject of magnetoreception, given by Assoc. Prof. Ilia A. Solov'yov, as well as two poster on the subject of electron transfer in the BC1 complex and Electron transfer in biological systems.
