Ida and Adrian are attending this years International Conference for Physics Students, where they will present their work with the QBL group.
Ida will give a talk about the validity of the proposed biological compass needle cryptochrome, and the radical pair mechanism behind it, and Adrian will talk about the electron transfer modes at the Qo active site of the bc1 complex leading to the formation of superoxide, and its relevance to aging, as well as presenting a poster.
