The Danish Institute for Advanced Study (DIAS) was officially opened september 23rd, and last wednesday, september 28th, the first DIAS-talk was given.
This first DIAS-talk with the title "Computational microscope for biophysical application" was given by Ilia Solov'yov of the QuantBio-group, who introduced the audience to the world of computer simulations - how do they work, why are they interesting, and then he also gave a few examples of our ongoing research that rely on computer simulations.
