OPEN: PhD position on spin dynamics in complex molecular and solid-state systems

Submitted by noahrick on

The QuantBio-Lab is currently looking for a smart individual to fulfill a PhD position focused on the study of spin dynamics in complex molecular and solid-state systems.

The research encompasses synthetic molecular systems, nitrogen-vacancy (NV) centers in nanodiamonds, and biological molecules, with an emphasis on understanding fundamental spin phenomena. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and refinement of theoretical methods for investigating spin dynamics and electronic structure calculations, including the use and further advancement of MolSpin, a specialized program for spin dynamics modeling, embedded in the Scandinavian Kit for Nanoscale Modelling (VIKING). This position provides the opportunity to engage in interdisciplinary research at the interface of quantum biology and computational physics, leveraging advanced theoretical tools to address contemporary scientific challenges.
