From 12th to 14th April the 11th Conference on Animal Navigation organised by the Royal Institute of Navigation (RIN) is taking place at the Royal Holloway College in Egham, Surrey, UK. Talks were given by Siu Ying Wong, Bo Leberecht and Thiemo Karwinkel about "Radiofrequency field effects on the avian magnetic compass" and Ilia Solov'yov about "Deciphering structure and dynamics of avian cryptochromes". Additionally, Georg Manthey participated in the poster session with a poster about open source software to find tagged birds.
