Augusto Oliveira is currently visiting the QuantBio lab for a voluntary developing project for VIKING! Augusto received his PhD in chemistry in theoretical and computational chemistry at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais in Brazil. He has extensive experience in DFT and DFTB methods and has worked in many different research projects on material science and applications. Additionally, he has also been working at Software for Chemistry & Materials (SCM) and now wants to use his extensive skillset to improve the VIKING suite.
