From January 13 to March 14, Naruki Uno from the Kyoto University is visiting our group. In Japan, Naruki is working on Elucidation of Nanoregion Electronic Excitation Reactions in Two-dimensional Materials by Swift Cluster Ion Beam. During his stay, he will be working with the collision task, implemented in VIKING to better interpret the experimental results carried out at Kyoto University. Specifically, he is trying to understand how the molecular axis orientation of incident cluster ions affects the energy of secondary electrons emitted from a graphene monolayer.
We hope you enjoy your time with us Naruki!
