The RIN16 conference was being held last week, april 13th - 15th, at the Royal Holloway College in London.
We contributed with a talk by Emil and a poster by Claus, both showing different aspects of computational modelling. Although theoretical contributions were scarce, the experimental results presented there were extremely diverse: all aspects of magnetoreception were present, including behavioural experiments on birds, sea turtles and horses, but also e.g. biochemistry and neuroanatomy. Among the presented works were also investigations of the vision of bees, an electric field sense of a certain species of fish, and navigation by olfaction, landmarks, etc.
