SFB Magnetoreception and navigation symposium

Submitted by noahrick on

On the 18th of February, a symposium of the SFB 1372 Magnetoreception and Navigation in Vertebrates took place. Jonathan Hungerland and Georg Langebrake had beautiful posters on the rhodopsin GPCR complex in European Robin and investigating the genetic encoding mechanisms of migratory direction. Luca Gerhards gave a fantastic talk on potential effects of weak radiofrequency radiation in biological systems based on the radical pair mechanism.

In case you missed this event and want to have an overview of the topics discussed, feel free to have a look the symposium program.
