Naruki Uno leaving the group and Pip Benjamin coming back

Submitted by noahrick on

On March 13th, Naruki Uno finished his scientific visit in our group. During his stay, Naruki worked a lot with the collision task, implemented in VIKING, which will help to better interpret the experimental results carried out at Kyoto University. Specifically, he is trying to understand how the molecular axis orientation of incident cluster ions affects the energy of secondary electrons emitted from a graphene monolayer.

Pip is a PhD student in the working group of Peter Hore at the Department of Chemistry at the University of Oxford, Great Britain. In the Department of Chemistry, Pip is focused on simulations of large, realistic radical pair spin systems in the Cryptochrome protein. Pip already visited our group almost exactly one year ago. Welcome back Pip!
